David Edwards is a Vancouver-based senior digital matte painter and environment artist with 20+ years of experience across film, television and interactive media.

Working from concept through final compositing, he brings together design, painting and 3D techniques to create worlds with depth, atmosphere and a strong sense of place.

His credits span Shōgun, Fallout, Blade Runner 2049, Avatar and many more, with experience at Eyeline / Scanline VFX, COSA VFX, DNEG, Method Studios and Framestore.
